In relation to Compliance, we support Raisin and the group in following best practice from a company, regulatory and business perspective. This means we help prepare and maintain key policies, update and deliver company training, and keep on top of key subject areas which might impact the business. We also oversee Raisin s third party relationships through Outsourcing & Vendor Management and Due Diligence/Risk Assessments on prospective partners and clients of Raisin.

We are an essential support function for a range of areas within the business and work closely with many of them, as well as the Risk and Compliance functions for our subsidiaries. We also perform a vital role in the governance of the group through participation and support of key committees.

If you don t already have this knowledge, you ll be prepared to undertake training to enable you to perform this role.
  • You will also support our vendor due diligence and management including annual refreshes and updates, including where appropriate supporting compliance reviews to ensure we are meeting our obligations to stakeholders.
  • As an experienced professional you will be certain to want to make your mark - and this might involve taking our existing processes and making them leaner, more effective and efficient. You will work with the Head of Risk and Compliance on continuous improvement initiatives to make our Compliance function ever-better, reflecting the dynamic always-better-never-best improvement values of our FinTech.
  • Your role will involve working with key internal stakeholders including senior executives and the c-suite, where you will be a confident expert voice supporting key business decisions.

Your Profile

  • You have an educational and working background in regulation, risk management and/or compliance. A background in business administration will also be considered where relevant transferable skills and related project management experience are concerned.
  • You have a degree-level education in the above mentioned fields, or relevant industry experience of at least 5 years.
  • Experience in procurement, contract and/or vendor management and procurement would be a bonus.
  • You are skilled in the use of standard office programmes to produce high-quality insight and reporting in slide, word document or table formats.
  • You are highly organized, excelling in written and oral presentation and able to manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the business.
