We are looking for an outstanding individual who will join our team as a Working Student Accounting & Controlling who will take ownership of various administrative tasks and projects within our Finance function.

The role is based in Berlin, hybrid work.

Tasks

What are your responsibilities?

As Working Student Accounting & Controlling, your responsibilities will be to support our Finance processes to ensure Your first tasks will be to:

• Review incoming invoices, collect missing invoices, request correct invoices (if there are any wrong ones), matching with payments
• Create outgoing invoices
• Ensure all invoices are processed in a timely manner to the highest standard.
• Support preparation of the month-/quarter-end closings and financial controlling
• Process travel expense reports

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this role?

• You are enrolled at a university for a full-time degree in Business Administration or Economics with some exposure to accounting, finance or controlling and have at least 1 more year to study
• You are passionate about finance and like to deal with numbers. You like to work in an organized way which you improve a little bit every day.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets, first experience with invoicing software
• Studying Finance or Accounting is a plus.
• Self-independent working style and quick comprehension
• Ambitious, results-oriented and target-driven mentality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in English
