[NDK] Product Engineer (Snowboard/Binding)

Due to the continuing growth, Nidecker Group is looking for two (2) Product Engineers for the Snowboard and Binding Research & Development department. Nidecker Group is located in Rolle Switzerland on the French-Swiss Riviera, close to the Alps and the Lake Leman. The Group manages some of the best snowboarding brands in the world as Nidecker, Jones, Yes, Now & Flow.

As Product Engineer, you will be working with and reporting to the Brand s Managers of Nidecker, Yes, Jones, Now or Flow. You will be responsible for the development of corresponding products, review and draw 3D parts and in charge of creating the innovation required to compete in the market. You will also coordinate and oversee production, quality control, delivery timelines and cost. You will work closely with team riders, sales, and marketing departments to ensure the product strategy is best executed.

With our office in Rolle and production in China, Vietnam, Dubai, Europe and other production countries, we can offer an interesting challenge for those who have experience in Snowboarding or Outdoor Sport. Tasks

What we are looking for some who has:

• Strong expertise of 3D Modeling Software (Solidworks, Catia or similar).
• Good knowledge of MS Office & Adobe Illustrator is an advantage.
• Personal Interest for Snowboarding or Outdoor Sports.
• Experience in Snowboards or Sporting Goods Product development is an advantage.
• Fluent English (speaking & writing); French is an advantage.
• Bachelor s degree or 5Y Job Experience in engineering, product design or technical field.

Requirements

What you should bring to the table:

• Advanced skills in 3D modelling, manufacturing process and plastic injection;
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently as well as participate in a team-based product development process ;
• Excellent time management skills to meet frequent deadlines.
• Affinity for International trips to visit factories (4-6 weeks/year).
• Extremely organised and detail oriented ;
• Ability to think creatively about new product ideas and how to improve upon existing products ;
• Knowledges in composites and its processing ;
