Job Position
Designation: GIS Consultant

Location: Anywhere in the US and/or Remote

Basic Qualification
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
Experience in ESRI GIS, ArcGIS, Python, AWS Cloud, HTML5

Preferred Qualifications

7-8 years of total GIS industry experience, with at least 3 years in implementing GIS Solutions.
Experience of at least 1 or 2 full-cycle GIS implementation with hands on design, development, and deployment experience in GIS.
Interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical and GIS proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Solution definition and Design.
Coordinate with offshore in converting the business requirements into functional use cases and technical design
Help in the architecture and design of the entire GIS solution and the key interfaces with sufficient research so that it adheres to the best practices in the industry.
Conduct GIS based POCs to showcase ideas, prepare for demos to presenting to the business user.
Provide technical support to GIS related issues if required, for the applications that is assigned.
Coordinate with offshore for getting the deliverables on time.
Participate in project review meetings with the client.
Proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise in setting up environment for the client
Knowledge of Field GIS solutions in desirable.
Familiarity with process integration of GIS with other enterprise and operational systems
Familiarity with GIS Product Architecture, ArcGIS server, web services, python scripting, geo-processing services.
Programming experience in Java Script, REST API and ArcGIS Mobile platform is preferred.
Experience of working in Agile development team, working with client teams/SMEs and through the project life cycle.
