IDEM is using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement to build enterprise applications for internal case management and customer service portals. Serves as the architect and lead developer.

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION

IDEM is using the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement to build enterprise applications for internal case management and customer service portals. The agency is establishing an internal development team capable of delivering high business value at a sustainable velocity.
The right candidate is capable of fluid movement within all areas of the Microsoft cloud and has demonstrable experience building enterprise solutions using Microsoft Business Applications. This candidate can communicate with business users and provide technical mentorship to the development team. They are forward thinking, progressive, and lean towards composing solutions that use out of the box approaches.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Functions as technical lead for development team
Provides direction on when and how to configure, customize, or extend the platform
Translates requirements, product backlog items, and user stories into technical design
Configures Dynamics and Power Platform applications and only when necessary, builds custom plug-ins to meet user requirements
Builds and makes use of proofs of concepts, prototyping, and production pilots to incrementally prove out a technical approach and validate business requirements

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Expert-level knowledge of Dynamics 365 apps including Customer Service, Field Service, Customer Voice, Sales, and Portals
Expert-level knowledge of Power Platform and Dataverse
Extensive knowledge of best practice of when to use Power Platform/Dataverse or Dynamics 365 apps
Extensive knowledge of best practice on classic approaches such as when to use plug-ins or classic workflows vs when to use Power Automate or Azure PaaS
Proven ability to translate requirements, product backlog items, and user stories into technical design
Proven ability of making use of proofs of concept, prototyping and production pilots to incrementally prove out a technical approach and validate business requirements
Proficient in Azure DevOps Boards, Repos, and CI/CD pipelines with Dynamics 365
Proficient in using Azure PaaS services such as Logic Apps, Functions, and Data Factory
Proven experience integrating third-party solutions such as DocuSign and ArcGIS
Deep knowledge of Developer Guides for Power Platform, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 apps

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, AND EXPERIENCE:

4+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 online and Power Platform implementations
4+ years of experience with related cloud technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps
4+ years of experience with on-premise Microsoft Dynamics CRM
PL-400 or PL-600 certification preferred, but not required
Experience with Government Community Cloud (GCC) helpful, but not required
Required/Desired Skills
