Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop DataStage Sequencers and Parallel jobs using different stages like Aggregator, Join, Merge, Lookup, Source dataset, External Filter, Row generator, Column Generator, Change Capture, Copy, Funnel, Short, Peek stages
• Work with the end user to get data requirements, performing complex data mapping
• Provide timely resolution for integration-related production issues, including root cause analysis and follow the change management procedures and policies
• Develop and maintain an integration component catalog
• May serve project team roles, such as project lead, or technical lead, for small to medium efforts or manage phases of medium to large efforts
• Interact with stakeholders for requirement
• Assist on support and enhancements modules
• Hands on experience in Transforming Business specific rules into functional Specs
• Strong understanding of differences in various data quality controls
• Experience in writing Shell Scripts to automate file manipulation and data loading procedures
• Experience in writing SQL Queries
• Advanced InfoSphere DataStage Design and Development
• DB2 UDB Administration and Support
• Solution/Design experiences
• UNIX Scripting
