About the Operation Teams:

Decentral infrastructure, a maturing technology and growing market, international collaboration, real customer demands, motivated network of partners and hands-on working attitude that s us the EDRI Operations Team.

We keep the customer in mind when ensuring the availability of our infrastructure on a day-to-day basis and try to provide the best possible customer experience at our charging stations.

The team works with internal colleagues from different departments such as product management and external key partners, both in the helpdesk and in the field.

We are responsible for EDRI's assets and ensure a long-lasting and sustainable operation. Since we have an ear in the field, we know the weak points and work on continuous improvement. We have a flat hierarchy and you will report directly to the Teamlead Operations.

The part you ll play:

EDRI is looking for a motivated Operations Manager (m/f/d) to further enrich our team.

This role is perfect for individuals with the ability to work collaboratively and results-oriented in a fast-paced environment where ownership and impact are highly valued. In this position, you will also drive your own projects from end to end.

We are looking for an Operations Manager (m/f/d) who proactively and voluntarily takes the first steps to identify and address issues as well as opportunities and continuously drives business forward.This is a hybrid position with a mix of on-site at our Headquarters in Essen, Germany, home office and based on your preference and know-how on the road in our charging network (up to 20%).

Tasks

Some examples of your daily tasks:

  • Manage overall operational performance of the EDRI charging network by driving performance monitoring and preventive maintenance
  • Manage and drive performance of O&M suppliers (full ops service contract, 1st level, maintenance, hardware supplier, power contract and other site services)
  • Influence company wide key decisions based on the operational insights on hardware, supplier as well as KPIs and work together with the Operations Manager from the other countries on joint projects
  • Organize the interface with our Deployment Team and integrate new-builds in our portfolio
  • Provide 3rd level support in collaboration with the central operations team as well as support in improving the customer experience
  • Acting as crucial interface and contact person for internal and external stakeholder

Requirements

What you ll bring to the team:

  • Experience as Operations Manager, Field Service Manager, Prozessmanager, Servicetechniker, Wartungstechniker or Projektmanager (m/f/d) or a similar role
  • Strong communication, stakeholder and project management skills combined with a can-do attitude and a customer focused mindset
  • Ideally an operational background with an electrical skill-set and first eMobility experience
  • Fluency in English and German
