Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Transportation/Logistics Coordinator assists the Transportation Coordinator and the Order Logistics Specialist in their daily job functions, which are: the importing, transporting and rigging of company's products including machines, robots and automation, and the processing of such product orders in our various systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the timely delivery of machines, robots and automation from our manufacturing locations to our customer's facilities for final delivery. - Maintains delivery schedules and tracks deliveries to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Updates and provides tracking information to customers, both internal and external.
- Follow up contact with customers to obtain feedback on the quality of service and
- communication
- Monitors and reports issues such as damages, accidents and safety.
- Handles customer complaints and assists the Customer Service Division in reconciling damages to equipment and related delivery issues.
Obtain quotes from transportation and rigging contractors. Assists the Transportation coordinator with customs compliance as necessary SAP order entry and delivery and invoicing processing Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by a supervisor
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Educational/Training Requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 2+ years in a Customer Service or Administrative/Coordination style role
- Willing to train someone with a high motivation to learn!
- Strong communication skills both with internal team and external customers
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, etc.
- Customer Service mindset
- SAP Experience preferred, but not required
