Job Description: The HR Site Lead will support the day-to-day Human Resource needs located right next to GTR airport in Columbus, MS> This role will be responsible for questions or concerns regarding company policies or practices, employee relations, HR data administration, Onboarding processes, compensation, leave administration and employment record maintenance.

Specific duties include:
Culture Steward for driving a culture of Diversity and Inclusion.
Partners with leadership and staff to handle employee relations issues, communicate effectively, and offers the applicable solutions to leadership and employees,
Performs routine tasks required to execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; corrective action; performance and talent management; recognition and occupational health and safety.
Conduct employee onboarding and new hire orientation
Coordinates and monitors all aspects of HR operational administrative workflows, including but not limited of pre-onboarding to termination, with minimal supervision
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain HR and other employee data files, including privacy data protection.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates degree or equivalent experience is required.
3+ years of experience in an HR generalist role
Proficiency with employment legal requirements including but not limited to EEO/AAP, COBRA, FMLA, FLSA, unemployment, & worker's compensation.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the organization
Ability to think independently and use good judgment
Must be highly ethical, and have strong integrity to handle sensitive/confidential information

Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office environment.
Ability to work at a desk 8 hours daily.
Lifting of normal office equipment, such as laptops and files.
