Citrix Consultant

5+ years experience working with Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp and related Citrix platforms in support/administrative functions and a BS in Computer Science, Technology Management, Management Information Systems or similar technical degree or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience working with Microsoft PC operating systems in a support and administrative functions.
3+ years experience working with Microsoft Server Operating systems.
3+ years experience with Citrix Provisioning Services, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, Director, Citrix Profile Manager, License Server, Edge Sight and NetScaler access infrastructure or comparable technologies.
Advanced proficiency with remote access and display protocol technologies such as RDP, ICA or PCoIP.
Advanced experience with HA and DR configuration and fail over processes.
Advanced knowledge of Citrix client receiver configurations and functionality.
Advanced capability to produce or modify scripts using common scripting languages.
Advanced Active Directory including Group Policy, Kerberos, and related services such as DNS, DHCP, and LDAP.
Solid understanding and knowledge of network technologies in TCP/IP, firewalls, load-balancers, and proxies.
Advanced knowledge with infrastructure and server theories, principles and concepts; application infrastructure and standards; networking fundamentals; Windows; SAN storage systems (NetApp); clustering technology; physical server architecture; virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix) and LAN/WAN/Firewall/VPN network technologies.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently with competing deadlines.
Strong communication skills in dealing with customers and users experiencing technical issues with Citrix technologies.
Experience operating with Agile development teams and use of JIRA.
Experience operating in a ServiceNow ITSM environment.
Ability to deliver results in a team-oriented environment and work with minimal oversight while leading a team to accomplish established objectives.
