With our partner MDO-Skin we build a joint-venture tech startup that builds an integrated social commerce platform and ecosystem with micro-entrepreneurs.
We are looking for a Marketing Automation to join the new joint-venture as one of the first employees in a multidisciplinary team.
Tasks
As a Marketing Automation Engineer, you are responsible for building the digital marketing automation to keep healthy relationships with our customers.
You'll be expected to drive the implementation of the marketing automation strategy and ensure its execution. You report to the CMO of MDO Cosmetics.

- You initiate, develop, implement and improve engagement campaigns and complex customer journeys and initiatives to drive engagement in close collaboration with our team.
- You're monitoring the performance of automation campaigns and journeys.
- You're responsible for day-to-day business of the Marketing Automation incl. editorial campaign plan, marketing automation tools and content management tools across different channels (Website, E-Mail, Notification etc.).
- You make informed decisions based on qualitative user insights and quantitative user data by conducting user research, A/B tests, and analyzing data in collaboration with the project team and especially Product Manager, Marketing and Customer Service.
- You are used to working in a startup and corporate environment and excel with fast results and a lot of experience.
- You make sure that you can develop yourself as well as the people who work with you and that they enjoy it.
- You challenge your environment (employees to board), coordinate with them, find and convince with new solutions and ways that you then implement together iteratively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate can see the big picture, is creative and organized, communicative, and excited about the opportunity to become an integral member of a tight, but growing team.
- Experience and proven track record in similar roles at best-in-class companies in the area of customer loyalty & digital performance marketing for retail and online businesses in beauty/luxury/cosmetics.
- Deep knowledge of at least 1 CRM and 1 Campaign Automation tool and overall End-to-End CRM Operations is mandatory
- Strong project management and organization skills.
- Structured and comprehensible way of working.
- Fluent in English.
- A Bachelor's/Master s degree in marketing, business administration or computer science is an advantage. However, experience is more important to us.
