Job position: JAVA AWS Tech Lead

Location: Piscataway, NJ/Hybrid/ Remote

Immediate interview/ Start

Experience: Min 12-15 Years of hands-on development experience with a strong background in Architectural patterns, and practices in various enterprise-wide applications.

Responsibilities:

Work as a highly specialized senior-level application developer and Sr. technical lead responsible for coding and building distributed applications

Review and integrate technical and application architecture requirements

This role will involve working with teams toward creating and optimizing distributed applications and microservice that work in concert to provide real-time solutions

Conform Code quality, code performance, and code security and participate in code review

Work with the stakeholder to define application and technical requirements. Ensure that these requirements tie back to the performance goals

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Primary Skills:

Expertise in Java and Java Enterprise technologies stack

Hands-on experience with distributed caching, In memory data grids and databases (haze last, Grid grain)

Hands-on experience with Java reactive programming and tools like VertX

Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithm

Strong proven experience in building scalable, maintainable microservices

Strong hands-on proven experience in building Domain-driven design systems and following OOAD

Strong proven experience in distributed applications and patterns

Experience with embedded servers such as Embedded Tomcat

Experience with build tools like Gradle, Maven, ANT

Experience with TDD and BDD

Experience with Source Control systems such as GitHub, SVN, Bitbucket

Databases like Postgre SQL, SQL Server, Mongo DB

Good knowledge of Continuous Development with Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and tools such as Jenkins

Knowledge about design and implementation of applications on the Cloud, specifically AWS and using various services like Lambda, S3, ECS Fargate, API Gateway, Route53

Experience in Kubernetes, Docker Containers

Exposure to Enterprise Architecture frameworks such as Zachman, and TOGAF.
