Job Title: Financial Analyst I
Location: Altavista, VA - On-site
Contract Duration: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extending or converting perm
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM

NOTE: This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Financial Analyst I analyzes financial data and projects financial condition based on past performance and present earnings; and reviews proposals and prepares analysis of feasibility and profitability. We are seeking an entry/junior-level Financial Analyst to perform the following duties:
1) Supporting month-end close activities
2) Regular reporting on cost, volume, analytics, etc.
3) Regular forecasting
4) Other duties as required.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree required. Accounting or Finance preferred; other related fields such as Business, Economics, etc. also acceptable.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
0 to 2+ years of accounting or financial analyst experience. Fresh grads with internship experience are also welcome.
Experience within a manufacturing company/with manufacturing or operations accounting is highly preferred.
Proficiency with MS Excel.
Analytical and problem solving skills.
