THE OPPORTUNITY: Pediatrician or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

THE LOCATIONS: Houlton or Dover-Foxcroft / Brownville, Maine

Ready for a change? We have excellent, full time opportunities available for pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners to join our teams in Houlton or Brownville and Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. Our clinics are committed to providing quality health care services to people in Central/Northern Maine. As a result of our continued growth, we are looking for a candidate to provide services in our Dover-Foxcroft and Brownville clinics.

You will be providing primary medical care and emergency treatment to patients while participating in appropriate supervision, coordination, and implementation of health care programs and procedures.

BENEFITS INCLUDE

*80% of the health insurance premium and 50% of dependent coverage.
*Dental insurance benefit at our dental center for employee and dependents
*Accrued 3 weeks of paid vacation year one and accrued 4 weeks of paid vacation each year after
*Accrued up to 24 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO) and up to 40 hours of earned paid leave year one and accrued up to 88 combined hours of PTO and earned paid leave annually thereafter
*In addition to vacation and PTO time, $2500 and up to one week of toward CME
*Short term and long term disability at no cost to employee
*Life insurance benefit at two times your annual salary at no cost to the employee with $300K cap
*10 paid holidays annually
*401k plan available after one year of service, employer matches a total of 4% of your contribution
QUALIFICATIONS

-State of Maine licensed or ability to become licensed in the State of Maine
-Board Certification is required
-Active DEA License
-Residency trained pediatricians
-Experience and active support for rural, community oriented primary care
-Able to provide supervising physician responsibilities to PAs and FNPs
-Experience with and/or a willingness to work with an undeserved population
