(Senior) Consultant – Finance Transformation in Insurance

For their International Insurance Consulting Team they are now urgently looking for (Senior) Consultants (focus on Finance Transformation in Insurance and/or reinsurance) to strengthen their business and support them to expand to new European markets.

Tasks

As a (Senior) Consultant Finance Transformation in Insurance, you will work with the company s clients in the Insurance industry in order to successfully implement transformation projects at the interface between IT, actuarial and accounting. You will take on various key roles such as gathering business requirements, analysing business and data, leading projects, testing and creating technical solutions for complex transformation projects. You will also collect process documentation and design it, in particular for GAAP closing processes and documentation of target operating models. You and your team will analyse the "big picture" on insurance, finance and risk architectures and develop solutions to reduce the risks and their effects up to the implementation of new IT-system landscapes (SAP, SAS and SICS).

Requirements

They are looking for a business-proficient English Speaker with 2 to 8 years of experience as Management and/or In-house Consultant focusing on finance and accounting combined with project experience in IFRS 17, Solvency II and/or Multi GAAP accounting. He/she has experience in insurance/reinsurance in the area of finance, operations or data management and knowledge in the process management in financial services companies or financial/insurance related areas. Besides that, he/she secured a Bachelor s Degree (or higher education), is ready to move to Germany and has the willingness to travel to clients within Europe.
