As a Product Manager, you will take ownership of product vision and value proposition, defining the future roadmap and being accountable for the products current performance and future growth. Integrated Border Management solutions provide this all-encompassing approach leveraging all sources of information available to each stakeholder involved in border management, and supporting collaborative decision making based on the outcomes of the most modern techniques for risk assessment.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-7 years similar and relevant commercial business experience
  • 3-5 years experience with relevant industry B2C and B2B systems such as analytics, fraud detection, security, and public safety systems.
  • Product Management certifications will be valued.
  • Experience working in Agile as well as traditional product development environments will be valued.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Understanding of market requirements and building specifications for solutions / products
  • Knowledge of policies, regulations and a variety of implementations of travel and tourism data provision to Governments and other official bodies
  • Knowledge of Product Management, Engineering / Technology Maturity, Business Approval and other solution development and approval methodologies
  • Confidence and strong presentation skills to be able to evangelize products and solutions to customers and audiences
  • Able to operate within and lead virtual teams

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Certified Product Manager(CPM) orCSPM (Certified Scrum Product Manager) highly desired
  • Business / Engineering / Science related qualification to at least Bachelor's Degree level typically.
  • Other Degree level backgrounds considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Thoroughly analyse and develop an understanding for market trends and customer needs
  • Propose and execute the strategy for the product(s) in line with the company's strategy
  • Articulate and document the product vision strategy and define the target market
  • Establish and implement an effective channel 'go to market' strategy for the products, to include an agreed and executed sales and marketing plan
  • Support bid management processes, pre-sales customer interactions and sales force team.
  • Complete understanding of customer needs, the competitive landscape and market trends. Identify new opportunities and requirements for enhancements to existing products/services.
  • Be accountable for the products' functional requirements
  • Lead each product development project throughout the build/launch process and ensure the right product to market, within the agreed timescales.
  • Develop and lead a cross functional team that helps shape ongoing strategy and ensures the timely/cost effective and quality delivery of product development and performance
  • Manage partnerships and supplier relationships
  • Be responsible for ensuring viable product specification, design and evolution
  • Develop and manage the product road map throughout the life cycle from conception to retirement
  • Panning and prioritization of product investments with the context of the solution line portfolio strategy
  • Define and develop the portfolio/product value proposition
  • Be responsible for all product marketing activities during the lifetime of the product
  • Organize, run and work with key user groups and important customer forums to develop customer relationships and influence market thinking
  • Define a comprehensive pricing strategy for the product(s)
  • Ensure that stakeholders are fully engaged and committed to achieving these objectives.
  • Ensure a complete communication of the 'project plans progress tracking' to all relevant parties getting their strong commitment.
  • Contribute to the Product Management practice, working with Product Management peers to drive best practice across the organization
  • Act as coordinator/ mentor/coach for more junior members within the Product management community.
