Position: Acquisition Logistician

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide full-time, Integrated Logistics Support to the Acquisition Program in Washington, DC. Employ all elements of logistics to assist with the day to day logistics needs of the specific surface Program Office in formulating, coordinating, implementing and maintaining the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program.
Research and prepare draft logistics planning documents in accordance with USCG guidance documentation. Examples include Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), Reliability and Maintenance Plan, Sustainment Manning Estimate Reports, and the Sustainment Systems Training Plan. Assist in planning, preparing and facilitating Integrated Logistics Support Management Team (ILSMT) meetings, Program Reviews, Acquisition Reviews, Technical Reviews, and Working Group meetings.
Qualifications:
Qualifications for Logistics Support shall include documented completion of all requirements for a DHS/DAWIA Logistics Level II certification, or "Certified Professional Logistician" (CPL) by SOLE - The International Society of Logistics (SOLE) or equivalent.
Qualified candidate(s) shall have a minimum of seven (7) years experience supporting Major Acquisition Program(s) (DHS/USCG Level I, DoD ACAT I or equivalent) in a logistical support role.
Qualified candidate(s) shall have a familiarity with developing, reviewing and issuing formal revisions of Major Systems Acquisition Manual (MSAM)/DOD 5000 series program documents and non-major acquisition project documents including Shipbuilding Specifications.
