Front Desk Receptionist

Madusalon is looking for experiences stylists to join our team!

While we specialize in curls, Madusalon welcomes all hair types; from fine straight hair to the tightest coils-we love your locks! We are a fast-paced salon with a strong organically grown clientele. We strive to provide the customer service of a high-end salon while staying warm and friendly. Our environment is comfortable yet professional with a lot of room for growth. We are proud to carry DevaCurl, Jessicurl, and Eufora hair care products as well as Redken and Pravana colors.

We are looking for:

A talented self-motivator with a current California Cosmetology license and a minimum of 3 years behind the chair with a clientele or the willingness, determination, and ability to build one.
A commitment of 5 days a week and must be available to work 1 weekend day.
Must be versatile in cutting both straight and curly hair (as we specialized in curls, we want someone who has knowledge in cutting curls or is ready to learn).
Proficiency in both men's and womens cuts.
Knowledge and experience with various hair coloring techniques.
Willingness to learn new techniques, keep up with trends and self-educate.
Ability to prescribe products to every client and meet retail requirements.
Knowledge of DevaCurl products is a plus.
