A leading retail store is seeking a mission oriented Store Manager to take its flagship conglomerate store to another level in people, sales and marketing targets.
The Role: Store Manager & Logistics Lead
The Store Manager is the standard bearer of our mission. They are responsible for delivering the best sales experience to our clients each time someone walks through the doors or calls to place an order. We are looking for a sales driven, charming, creative, responsible retail professional who is motivated to deliver best in class service. Core responsibilities include 1) driving sales targets, 2) store management, 3) customer relations management, 4) inventory management and 5) evangelizing the Stores story across all digital channels.
Primary Responsibilities:
Open and close the store daily, i.e., ensure the store is clean and set up to receive customers to come in,
Perform daily inventory management,
Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability,
Ensure the store remains clean and presentable at all times,
Merchandise the store with creative styling on the mannequins,
Liaise with CEO to determine if there are any orders to be delivered,
Confer or consult with CEO to plan promotions and adverts and to secure information from reactions from our customer about our products and customer specifications
Monitor customer preferences to determine the focus of our sales efforts
Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
Document and escalate customers complaints regarding sales and service,
Assist with the planning and reviewing sales and marketing budgets,
Monitor staff and self to provide all our customers in store, on the phone or online with our Gold Standard customer service experience,
Establish channels and methods to meet and exceed sales targets.
Provide daily, weekly, and quarterly sales report, reconcile daily credit card portal transactions,
Provide weekly inventory reports,
Monitor inventory to ensure that orders are placed on time and products in high demand are always stocked,
Coordinate with the logistics coordinator to clear shipped products at the wharf,
Coordinate local online delivery, and general movements of products.
