Right now we are recruiting for a Change and Release Analyst to join our Service Delivery team based in Daresbury

As a Change and Release Analyst as CTS you will Provide effective control and policing of Change & Patch Management Processes to ensure the highest levels of adherence to the process and value served from records maintained and Undertake duties in relation to other services provided by the Change & Release Team.

Responsibilities

No two days will be the same, as we work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, but typically your will:

  • Work with the Head of ITIL Process Excellence in running the day-to-day function of Change & Patch Management.
  • Run the daily review and approval of RFCs via CTS CAB process.
  • Review of ad hoc successful RFCs and all failed RFCs
  • Liaising with Clients, Service Delivery Managers on change and patch-related queries
  • Maintain Client CAB and Change Approver as well as Client Patch information within the current toolset
  • Schedule deployment of patching within the current patching tools
  • Create and distribute Maintenance Notifications to CTS clients
  • Support the creation of scheduled or ad hoc reports
  • Produce monthly Patch Management Reports and present findings to the Senior Management team monthly.

Essential Criteria

We are looking for an experienced Major Incident Manager, that has a solid understanding of ITIL standards, you will also need:

  • Excellent customer service and communications skills (verbal and written)
  • Competent and methodical administrative experience - with a demonstrable background of good day-to-day use of Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Evidence of working well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • An ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and within required timescales
  • The ability to interpret data and present information in a variety of formats
  • Evidence of the ability to work autonomously displaying a high degree of self-motivation and drive
  • Ability to collaborate with members of different teams within CTS
