Field (Installation) Engineer with English AND French or German

Tasks

Your role

You are hands-on assisting with the installation & maintenance of our scanning solution - which involves direct work on MRI systems, automated transport systems, and other technical equipment. You collaborate with our product, hardware, and software teams, ensuring timely realization of projects on-site and tailored to local conditions. Developing innovative solutions, you work directly with suppliers and contractors to coordinate issue resolution and gather necessary information to fix problems as needed onsite.

Your day to day

On a typical day you will

• take the lead on solving service requests from our customers.
• collaborate with our suppliers on installations and service activities.
• travel to on-site installations in Germany, France and Belgium.
• realize development projects of the hardware team for new product features.
• reproduce and evaluate system failures on our local MRI systems.

Your team

As a Site Engineer you become part of our diverse and international Hardware team. Together with our Head of Hardware, Product Manager, MRI and RF Engineers you ll work in a diverse and international constellation.

Engineering

• You have hands-on experience in electrical engineering, electronics or mechatronics.
• You have a solid experience in troubleshooting electrical, electrical and mechanical systems and finding solutions.
• You know how to read and create technical documentation, e.g. circuit diagrams, drawings with modern CAD tools.
• You have an understanding of statics, construction and water cooling.

Communication & Soft Skills

• You speak English AND French or German fluently.
• You know how to communicate with customers and suppliers to ensure successful system installations and fix problems in a timely manner.
• You have a driver's license to visit our customer sites.

What makes you stand out from other candidates

MRI knowledge

• You have a basic understanding of MRI technology and its hardware components.
• You have experience in radio frequency design and measurement.

Communication & Soft Skills

• You are comfortable to speak with customers and local craftsmen in French.
• You have work experience in servicing industrial or medical machinery.
