Job Description:
- The candidate for this position will have a solid and proven track record in technology consulting.
- A minimum of 10 years of full time IT experience is required for the intermediate level candidate.
- Managing our client's infrastructure is the main focus but you will also be actively involved in implementing technologies as well as other security products.
Key skills
- Strategy development and Implementation experience with an understanding of one or more of the following:
- Understanding of Network LAN / WAN experience
- Understanding of Middleware/DB, Backup/Storage, Mainframe experience
- Understanding of Asset Management and End User Software Lifecycle
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to connect and communicate at all levels across the Group.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills with the capability to assess the information provided and provide clear and appropriate direction based on this.
- Excellent reporting skills, including the ability to simplify complex system configuration into a clearly defined access design model.
- Microsoft Based Technology -- Knowledge of Windows server platforms, Active Directory, Exchange, System Center, Office 365, Azure, Intune and other Microsoft server-family products
- Security Knowledge -- Employing good security practices at all stages of the project life cycle. Server / application / network hardening and lock down to industry standards.
- Personal Organization -- Excellence at time management; maximize efficiency in client contact; meet deadlines, commitments, and project requirements.
- Communications -- Develop and present proposals; interact with technical and executive level customer contacts; prepare and conduct group presentations.
Technical Skills
- Lead projects in support of customers looking to improve their identity and security posture
- Microsoft skills with respect to infrastructure implementation
- Experience with Mainframe, DB, Storage, Backup
- Experience with Asset Management, End User Software Lifecycle
- Consulting to provide all sizes of business the right solutions
- Server hardware and software configuration, problem determination and resolution.
- PC hardware and software configuration, problem determination and resolution
- Windows systems administration, design, setup and troubleshooting.
- Cybersecurity knowledge and ability to design and implement solutions for clients
- Lead or participate in projects to help migrate customers' identity platforms during Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures
