Application Developer

Key responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing technical applications, functional enhancements, workflows, application extensions, expressions and interfaces for Accela Civic Platform

Analyzing application development requirements and product documentation and interacting with vendors to resolve configuration issues

Collaborating cross-departmentally with operations management, applications and infrastructure teams, and the GIS Developer on data standards, application priorities, system updates and upgrades and API integration changes

Updating configuration/scripting based on monthly product releases

Maintaining technical documentation

Creating and updating reports in Crystal Reports

System and regression testing

Selection Criteria:

Strong analytical, problem-solving skills

Verbal and written communication skills to translate technical information for users at all levels

Significant work experience providing SaaS/COTS application configuration and support including interacting with software vendors to resolve issues

A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Significant education, training and experience that demonstrates competence in and JavaScript and jQuery

Collaboration with multiple developers utilizing source control software

Applications support and maintenance of an enterprise level environment

Developing technical documentation

Preference may be given to consultants with knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

Development and configuration of Accela Civic Platform; and/or Accela Expression Builder

Working in a Microsoft operating environment

HTML5 and CSS SQL Server development

Crystal Reports

GIT implementations
