A well established organization based seeks the expertise of a journalist. The ideal candidate should be able to write and assemble together news stories that will interest their audience.
Reading press releases
Researching articles
Establishing and maintaining contacts
Interviewing sources
Writing, editing, and submitting copy
Attending events
Proofreading
Verifying statements and facts
Staying up to date with privacy, contempt and defamation law
Liaising with editors, sub editors, designers and photographers.
Media personality to present live on TV
Social Media management
Tertiary education Diploma/Degree (Journalism)
1 - 3 years experience in journalism (Advantage)
MUST have drivers license and own Vehicle

Excellent oral or written skills
