Senior Procurement Specialist

Roles and responsibilities: 1. Working on annual contract awards to suppliers to support our CMs 2. Working closely with R&D during design cycle to review component cost and supply availability and lifecycle 3. Working closely with the Project Management Team to supply costs for NPI thru GA product lifecycle for new projects 4. Receipt, management, and translation of SAP Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders 5. Obtaining quotations from potential suppliers to obtain best possible costs while ensuring lead time requirements are observed and maintained 6. Report Generation costed boms and analysis of MRP 7. Build and Maintain Supplier relationships 8. Monitoring Contract Manufacturer relationship with the Program Management Team Required skills and experience: Must have 5+ years of experience in procurement. Must has electronics industry background. Demonstrable interpersonal skills to ensure commitments are made and met as well as problems are resolved, escalated, and managed appropriately Desired skills: Proficiency in SAP, Excel and Agile Spanish Note 1: You MUST be legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., possess Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or Valid Work Permit).
