Landscape Designer

Job Description & Duties:

Preparation of drawings to communicate design concept to clients

Prepare and submit detailed construction drawings for permit application

Site visits to log property measurements, elevations, and inventory

Assist clients with material selection

Basic administrative work within an office setting

Job Requirements:

Some knowledge and experience in residential design and construction

Ability to read construction and concept drawings

Knowledge of horticulture

Experience with design software such as Dynascape and Auto CAD

Ability to take site measurements and elevations

Knowledge of the latest materials such as Pavers, Retaining wall systems, and natural stone

Ability to work under pressure and maintain personal work performance in the face of setbacks

Ability to work both as an individual and in a team environment

Attention to detail

Effective oral communication skills both with coworkers and customers
