Primary Purpose of the Position:
OE CATEGORY
Operate the monthly Sales Forecasting process, including the development of statistical models, capture and modeling of assumptions and maintaining the forecast at Material & Customer group level & the facilitating consensus meetings with sales & marketing.
Drive improved forecast accuracy by using metrics, researching root causes for forecast error & developing solutions to address root causes.
Support the sales & marketing teams with data & analysis to increase their effectiveness in building a sales forecast for their business segments.
Ideate and drive improvements in the forecasting process aligned to strategic objectives that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the forecast process or system.
Own the consolidation of the total forecast for the business unit and hand-off to the necessary stakeholders aligned to the S&OP milestones.
Play a leadership role in the sales forecasting team through training & coaching and potential direct leadership responsibility of supply chain rotational or intern personnel.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage the Sales Plan & S&OP Process for the OE Business Unit.
Drive improved forecast accuracy by using metrics, researching root causes for forecast error & developing solutions to address root causes.
Support the sales & marketing teams with data & analysis to increase their effectiveness in building a sales forecast for their business segments.
Ideate and drive improvements in the forecasting process aligned to strategic objectives that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the forecast process or system.
Play a leadership role in the sales forecasting team through training & coaching and potential direct leadership responsibility of supply chain rotational or intern personnel.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in business, economics or related field.
Experience:
5 years of experience in supply chain, operations management, S&OP, forecasting or related.
Knowledge:
Ability to manage complex data, infer trends & spot patterns.
Knowledge of relevant analytical tools & techniques.
Understand the S&OP process, market customer, end consumer & the company's business model & mission.
Confident communicator, both verbal & written. Ability to convince or influence an audience.
Excellent project & time-management skills.
