OVERVIEW
The Meals Bake Solutions Team is seeking a Customer Account Lead II who will be responsible for the leadership and strategic planning at Target for the Pillsbury, Soup, and Sides business units. These businesses include two strategic JBP agreements that the CAL II creates, owns, and executes with Target.
The role offers deep exposure and experience with one of the fastest growing omnichannel retailers in the country. Strong candidates will have customer experience, strong analytical abilities, and the ability translate the varied needs of the customer into shared growth opportunities. You will have the autonomy and independence to manage the operation and to develop and execute key strategies designed to achieve annual RNS, SPC and competitiveness metrics. This role delivers in-depth customer and brand P&L exposure that will provide highly differential and valuable experience for the choice candidate in this role and beyond.
This role is remote eligible.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
SELLING EXPERTISE & LEADERSHIP
Develop and maintain effective customer relationships
Leverage established GMI Sales processes to establish objectives, engage the customer, explore customer interests, explain solutions, and execute commitments
Drive incremental results by leveraging the unique strategies and capabilities of Target
Gain new product acceptance and merchandising levels in alignment with selling goals
EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
Takes personal accountability and ownership for results, deeply understands consumers, delivers market leading innovation and prioritizes whats important
Meet annual sales targets by leveraging GMI trade strategy and maintaining accurate planning and spending information in the trade planning system
Collaborate with internal teams to develop promotional offers that reflect national trade strategies and optimize GMI resources
PROBLEM SOLVING & ANALYTICS
Embed improved utilization and understanding of the SRM and RYG merch efficacy tools
Leverages national category management selling stories to drive GMI distribution growth
Understand and leverage category management principles to influence share of shelving and display
Exhibits high degree of financial/forecasting accumen & leverages to build strong, achievable JBPs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors Degree required
Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experience
Successful demonstration of analytical skills using various data sources (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data)
Must be proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) & internal systems (Trade Planning)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Willingness to relocate to multiple markets/ field-based business centers for future GMI career opportunities
Experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
