Job Description


PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & SOURCING COORDINATOR



Provide full support to merchandising division of GNC retail division


Act as liaison between PD, design & sourcing to monitor fabric development, proto requests, raw material, trim, artwork and AI art files.


Send out proto requests and maintain proto development chart


Manage timely receipt of proto check ins, distribute to appropriate departments


Create excel format to track lab dips, knit downs and strike offs received from multiple mill submits and update internal tracking chart


Distribute SMS samples to sales and showroom



SKILL SET:



Must be highly proficient in excel, Microsoft outlook and preferably PLM


Strong verbal and written skills


Must have 1-2 years apparel product development or production experience


Highly detail oriented with ability to manage data stream input from various reporting structures


Excellent at recapping fast passed line review meetings


Must be flexible and can manage multiple admin requests simultaneously


Some knowledge of synthetic fabric preferred
