Solid organization and planning skills Work management and prioritizing skills Excellent verbal and written communications skills Problem-solving ability Attention to detail Accuracy Flexibility Reliability/Dependability Must be able to work well within a team setting as well as be able to work independently Must have good ability to build strong relationships Ability to learn technical information Self-confidence and self-starter Bachelors Degree in related field 6 years of experience in a technical recruiting role Experience establishing and managing technical candidate pools Ability to meet or exceed recruiting metrics Competent computer skills including MS Office Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging, data collection, and Boolean search strings Numeracy and literacy skills Responsibilities The Senior Technical Recruiter will lead all phases of recruiting from sourcing and screening, negotiating salaries, coordinating interviews, to successfully placing talent into the organization You will be evaluating and screening talent for both management and technical consulting positions Achieves staffing objectives by sourcing active and passive candidates, evaluating candidate qualifications against specific criteria as outlined in a requisition, conducting interviews, facilitating interviews with hiring managers, and acting as a liaison between the candidate and management during the recruiting process/life-cycle Be the lead POC for your defined business unit Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs Proactively build candidate pools to reduce the time to hire core resources Review job requirements to understand the needs of the hiring manager as well ask questions that will help identify qualified candidates Understand technology, technical roles, and technical skills Keep abreast of technology trends Identify and source active and passive candidates using networking, searching for applicants online (and through other relevant means), and creating and posting requisitions for available positions Source, screen, and interview applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, and job skills for open positions and evaluate qualification/resume/application to determine candidate expressed qualifications against a requisition Keep candidates in the loop and warm at all stages of the hiring process Assisting in vetting security clearance status Build relationships Start every conversation with the intent to build develop, and maintain relationships with your candidates, hiring manager, and internal stakeholders Assist in the creation and placement of advertising for open positions in publications; online and print Utilize iCIMS Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Arrange and schedule interviews Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures Format resumes meeting client and proposal requirements Ensure compliance with regulatory authority requirements Participate in networking and recruiting events, as appropriate
