The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the electrical design for various projects, which includes interaction with the architectural team, construction managers, contractors, and internal team members.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Work on projects based upon project schedules, hour allocation and needs.
- Perform design calculations and choose the appropriate equipment and systems based on project parameters.
- Design HVAC systems per code and project requirements.
- Design Waste, Water, Vent, Gas and other plumbing systems per code and project requirements.
- Coordinates with other team members to complete projects.
- Plans own work in accordance with the project schedule and meet project deadlines.
- Coordinates with local authorities, utilities, and municipalities to incorporate associated construction, code, and government requirements
- Visits site to gather necessary as-built documentation to aid in the project's design. Some local travel for field support is expected.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 4 years of related experience
- Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software
- Registered Professional Engineer or ability and willingness to obtain a PE license within 6 months of start date.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office

- M-TH: 7:30-5:30
- Friday: 7:30-11:30
