Job Description

Ensuring reliable, on-time, complete delivery of electronic components, cables, PCBs, etc. for smooth production, taking into account quality and costsReporting supply issues that may pose a risk or impact business operations.Supporting product change requests, reviewing and communicating the impact on operational activities and capacity plansMonitor and report on component obsolescence and develop plans to improve component obsolescence managementSupport implementation and management for procurement and eProcurement solutions and optimise purchasing process workflows, especially requisitioning and ordering.Process purchase orders, ensure all required approvals are documented, orders are placed and deliveries are made on time.Searching, evaluating and selecting new suppliers and participating in feasibility studies for new items, reviewing components and quotations.Monitoring supplier management, conducting supplier evaluations and supplier audits

Tasks

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in a relevant business/commercial or manufacturing-related field of study or equivalent education
  • Technical background and training with a focus on electronics, mechatronics, electromechanical engineering or similar
  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing electrical components, printed circuit boards, etc.
  • Background in medical devices and knowledge of relevant regulations (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820, etc.), quality systems and relevant concepts is an advantage
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Good ERP and Office skills, especially Excel
  • Business fluent English is mandatory, good German language skills are a plus
