Highly regarded global medical device company seeks Manufacturing Manager to oversee operations including coordinating, planning and directing the manufacturing process to ensure all employees and machines are adhering to quality and regulatory requirements.
Requirements of the Manufacturing Manager:
- 5+ years' experience in a management position in a high volume, low automation assembly manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead, delegate to and direct employees. Experience mentoring and developing subordinates using positive communication and a culture of team work.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing techniques and methodologies.
- Hands on knowledge of cGMP regulations ISO 13485, 21CFR Part 820, CMDR SOR/98-282, 93/42/EEC, RDC 16 2013, MHLW MO 169 and TG(MD)R Sch3. Preferred.
- Ability to develop and adhere to SOP's.
- Experience managing over 20 full time employees.
- Act as subject matter expert for internal and external audits.
- Outstanding communication skills.
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager:
- Manage operations to ensure safe and timely completion of department work.
- Direct employees to follow company SOP's with full compliance and high quality levels to ensure delivery schedules are maintained.
- Lead, motivate and inspire employees to meet their goals by establishing effective communication, performance management, development and training initiatives.
- Ensure safe working conditions and continually establish safety awareness and regulations.
- Review availability of materials or parts, notify appropriate departments of potential shortages and suggest solutions.
- Collaborate with quality team to ensure work procedures meet department schedules and goals, adjust SOP's as appropriate.
- Continually improve processes and department efficiency.
