Executive Housekeeper

We require an assertive, self-disciplined Executive Housekeeper with previous experience within a 5*Hotel to oversee the day to running of a large property including public areas and back of house.

Duties:
Day to day operational management of a large 5*Hotel including public areas and kitchens
Ensure hotel standards are implemented and adherence to SOPs
Staff management including IR & manpower development and training
Build and maintain professional client partnerships
Maintain high cleaning standards
Control of direct expenses / stock / guest amenities
Oversee the upkeep of equipment on site and stock management
Maintain a high standard of performance and image of the Company
Implementation ISO 9001 quality systems.
Manage the assignment of work schedules and drawing up rosters
Maintain a budget as per site requirements
Liaise and negotiate at all levels
Resolve personnel problems or grievances
Requirement:
1 - 2 years previous management experience within a 5* Hotel
Ability to plan, organize and delegate
PC literate (MS Word & MS Excel)
Valid SA Drivers License
Basic Labour relations
Basic budgetary experience
Must be prepared to work shifts
Basic + Medical Aid +Provident Fund
