Your responsibilities

The editorial team is a human and unique guide, which helps our users to discover the best content on our platform. Unmissable news will help you understand the world and be as informed as possible. With two thousand titles and over one million articles per year, we bring a wide range of publications and topics to our users on Cafeyn.

Together with our editorial team, we want to help our users read and listen to the best articles every day. As an editor, you will select these articles by creating different types of collections. So, for example, we had a weekend full of sport and you will find the best articles for a football selection with background stories, interviews, or relevant insights. This selection of content will appear on our website and apps in different types of editorial features such as collections, newsletters, push messages and audio broadcasts.

The editorial team is part of the marketing and communication team. The main goal of our team is to attract new users to our platform and keep them engaged. You will also work closely with the product and technical teams. In collaboration with the data team, you will be responsible for the selections in the application. As the editorial team, we are responsible for human selection. Our data team creates selections based on user preferences with the algorithm.

Your missions

Selections: find the best articles, write headlines, create must-see selections

Audio broadcasts: we will tell about our editorial selections, so that our users can listen to the best news. With our voices, you will create these audio broadcasts.

Newsletters and push messages: our newsletters are an important part of our product. You will create newsletters and push messages with our CRM team.

Collections: a collection of sports articles, the must reads in the sport world. You are responsible for our editorial collections.

What are we looking for?

You have come to the right place if you have:

• Journalism experience: you have worked at least 3 years as a freelance journalist / editor / writer

• Experience with audio is a pre

• Experience in commercial writing is a plus

• Passionate reader, with great interest in sport

• Fluent in both language French & English
