The Creative Media Specialist is an important role within the Perfect Plants Creative & Marketing Team. Your typical responsibilities and work conditions include:

Must be comfortable working in both an office environment for editing and working outdoors during the production of video and photo projects
Work with the Senior Creative Media Specialist in the creation of all in-house media from video, photography, and graphic design
See video projects through to completion from brainstorming, pre-production, filming, and editing
Assist Senior Creative Media Specialist and Marketing Manager in creating/curating content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube & TikTok)
Assist with graphic banners for email campaigns as necessary
Help with the creation of internal training/onboarding videos for various Perfect Plants departments
Various ad-hoc creative tasks which may arise on a day-to-day basis
Pay based on experience meeting the following required criteria:

1-3 years of experience in the creative field, preferably as a part of an in-house media team, freelance, or working in an agency/production company setting
Demonstrated proficiency in video production and editing as well as photography/editing using Adobe Creative Suite software (Premiere Pro + Photoshop) through a portfolio
Exceptional communication, verbal and written
The following experience would be a huge plus, but is not required:

Interest in farming, gardening, or plants!
Familiarity with working in either Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
Experience with analytics and data tracking/reporting (Google Analytics, Social Media Insights, etc)
Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, & Pinterest
Experience with lighting setups for photo & video
Working with Sony mirrorless cameras
Content writing (social media, blogs, scripts, etc)
Graphic design experience using canva, photoshop, and or illustrator
Prior experience working with eCommerce platforms such as Amazon and Shopify

8 AM - 5 PM, Monday through Friday
