Duties: The candidate will start on 1st shift (8am-4:30pm). Calls for AOGs can be received any time after 4:30pm for the candidate to make exchange movements in the system for shipment.
The phone calls regarding AOGs (Aircraft on Ground) can come in during all shifts. So, we will need someone who is willing and able to cover 24/7 if necessary.

Position Summary
In accordance with the AGS commitments with our customers, the jobholder is responsible for administrating Aircraft on Ground requests for Thales Avionics Inc.
The AOG Coordinator will act as the primary contact to receive and administrate AOG exchanges and shipments for repairs or AOG Sales.
Ensure that all Customs requirements are met
Ensure proper documentation is shipped with the unit
Ensure proper packaging of products
Administrate stock movements in SAP
When AOG request is supported through TOCC, execute the supply chain back-office movements for AGS, including picking, packing, and delivering the equipment for carrier pickup
Ensures receiving, shipping and stock movements, including recertification of equipment are performed in a timely manner. Responsible for accuracy and reporting of AOG inventory in Orlando.
This position is part of a 24/7 support network for our airline customers, that require after-hour support to meet short notice turnaround times. Primary duties of this position will be performed during regular working hours, but the candidate will need to be available during non-regular hours, including weekends. An AOG Back-up team will be put in place to support after-hours activity for AOGs shipments during scheduled time off. The team will be comprised of a Back End team to physically ship the unit out of Orlando.
Essential Functions / Key Areas of Responsibility
Receives requests from TOCC on a 24/7 basis.
Understand customer AOG turn-around commitment times for all AGS platforms.
Obtain shipping authorization from assigned personnel.
Review all documents received prior to shipping for accurate information.
Manage the shipping effort from Thales Avionics facility to satisfy customer's requirements. Ensures all shipment requests are processed within 4 hours for most products. The SLA is measured from the time the AOG request comes in either directly from the customer or through Thales AOG center, to the time the shipment is available for customer's carrier to pick up. In some cases, we will have longer turnaround time up to 24 hours to ship. These SLAs are subject to change.
Create shipping documents for both domestic and international destinations.
Fill out all required forms and maintain files for all stock movements.
Performs all stock movements in and out, in accordance with AGS rules.
Performs the inventory count of the Orlando AGS stock as required (quarterly at minimum) and always ensures the accuracy of the inventory.
Investigates open issues regarding the AOG activity.
Maintains data accuracy and closure of PartEdge once shipment is complete.
Responsible for training and validating the performance of the AOG Backup teams.
Performs all requested actions required by Management, TOCC Thales AOG Center), and AGS Business Lines.
Performs duties of Shipping and Receiving and Stockroom clerk.

When time is of essence, favor the phone instead of email. Engaging a person by phone eliminates confusion is more effective and all those benefits directly translate meeting customers' expectations.
AOG Coordinator must provide to TOCC and CSR (managing the communication with the customer): Transit Details, Tracking Information, and AWB # as soon as available. This information is essential for the Customer to track their unit and support the Ground Aircraft properly.
Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience required
Two years of customer service/supplier performance experience required
Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
Must be able to maintain business confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
SAP experience is a plus
Two years working with SAP database is preferred
Knowledge of aviation industry is preferred
Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management preferred
MS Excel and analytical skills are a plus.
