We are an award-winning company on a mission to make the outdoors more accessible.Our flagship product line is a series of origami folding kayaks that transform from a portable box, into a sleek, lightweight, and high-performance watercraft.
This role will report to the Brand Manager and will be responsible for driving growth across all organic social platforms. The ideal candidate has prior experience managing social media (specifically in the DTC space) and has in-depth knowledge of scheduling and analytics platforms.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and audience identification
Create original content and edit social content/creative assets specific to each social media platform
Plan, create, publish and share new content (including original text, images, video, and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful customer connections, increases brand awareness, and encourages community members to engage with the brand
Capture and analyze the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure the success of every social media campaign, then use that information to refine future campaigns
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop social media campaigns
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Manage the brand’s content library, identify areas of priority and work with our photographers and content creators for any required deliverables.
Monitor SEO and customer engagement and suggest content optimization
Moderate user-generated content in line with the moderation policy
Develop relationships with creators, ambassadors and complimentary brands to drive collaborations, sponsorships and engagement programs.
Aid in the content development and copy of blog posts, site pages and paid platforms.
Monitor and drive engagement in our new and existing private community forums
Work closely with cross-functional departments and teams to plan and execute product launches, increase customer satisfaction and create lasting brand relationships and experiences.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
Aesthetic eye for content creation & experience using Canva or equivalent adobe software
Expertise in Reels, Shorts, Tiktok format content editing (capcut or equivalent editing app)
1 + years previous experience managing social media
Strong analytical skills and appreciation for testing/ driving with data
Strong project management skills, must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter, highly motivated and must thrive in a fast-growing company
