We are now looking for an ambitious Head of Accounting (m/f/d), reporting directly to the Group CFO, to lead and further develop our accounting department. This role spans across the CoachHub Group ( Group ), including the parent company in Germany and its subsidiaries in France, the UK, the US, Singapore, China and Australia.

Your responsibilities will include

Recurring activities

• Overseeing the group s monthly, quarterly and year-end closing process and ensuring a high-quality work product, ownership and on-time completion
• Overall oversight of the annual audit process for the Group
• Assuring that cost centres are correctly reflected in the respective accounting software (DATEV, Workday) and reconciling these reports for management reporting
• Liaising with our tax advisors and auditors in accounting and tax matters and coordinating with our external payroll accounting providers
• Continuing to build-out and develop the accounting and finance operations teams (currently 14 FTEs)
• Streamlining existing and implementing additional processes and procedures
• Collaborating with our FP&A team to ensure that the accounting framework is maintained in an efficient and effective manner
• Directing the expense policies of the Group and supervising the reimbursement of travel expenses

Project work

• Responsibility for first time group consolidation of the Group year-end financial statements (HGB/IFRS) and the following consolidation process
• Constructing and directing our internal control framework for the Group accounting as well as related processes and systems
• Implementation and management of transfer pricing topics in collaboration with external consultants

Your profile

• At least 6 years of related experience in a Tax Consulting Agency or an Accounting Department
• Demonstrated experience with leading a group of accountants and finance managers in a direct report capacity across several jurisdictions
• Expert in DATEV and finance & accounting modules of ERP software (in particular Workday)
• Excellent knowledge of local German GAAP and IFRS
• Profound knowledge of consolidation and transfer pricing topics
• Prior experience with German taxation, especially VAT, CIT and commercial tax
• Academic degree in accounting or a comparable education (e.g. Bilanzbuchhalter)
• Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in MS Office or Google Docs
• Fluent in English and German
• Prior experience in a fast-growing organization or start-up is advantageous
