Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Mission

• Create design and documentation according to team's guidelines for existing services and new services when any of the SDLC phase involves the aforementioned services.
• Collaborate with product team, engineering teams and business stakeholders for converting abstract requirements to technical items in the backlog adding details following the team's definition of ready.
• Participate in team's meetings and provide useful and constructive inputs.
• Develop high quality software adhering to team's standards, ensuring quality assurance with unit and integration test.
• Peer review deliverables of team members and provide constructive feedback based on the guidelines of the team, take responsibility for misses in the review and help in mitigating the gaps.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps team members to define the dependency as requirement with good level of detail and help fulfill their dependencies.
• Adhere to on call duty schedule and follow the incident management process in the event of an incident on the responsible services.
• Be responsible and accountable for the services and underlying infrastructure on information related to the services in all environments.
• Prioritize incident and problem management and provide resolution based on the team's KPIs and SLAs.
• Develop into the technical point of contact for the team's services and underlying infrastructure like database, logs, pubsub systems on information related to the services.
• Be an effective mentor for junior and mid level engineers and help them feel comfortable and confident in working on complex systems through training, documentation and pair programming.
• Initiate discussions and participate in them to define and improve code quality, conventions, quality assurance, architecture and design
• Follow the team's processes like Quality assurance, Change Management and Scrum and help to improve them

Your profile

• Solid development and maintenance experience of 5+ years in Java using Spring frameworks
• 2+ years of experience in modern frontend technologies (Angular, React or Vue)
• Experience in developing microservices and maintaining the same in production environment
• Knowledge of unit testing is mandatory
• Experience in tools such as IntelliJ, Git, Maven, Codefresh, Jenkins
• Experience in monitoring applications in Production through Logs, Sentry and New Relic
• Experience in practicing Scrum framework and ability to work profoundly with Jira tool
• Ability to communicate with the tech team, product team and business stakeholders in English
