Controller

This position offers a unique opportunity to become a Controller at a growing, venture-backed digital health company.

As an integral member of our Finance team, the Controller will establish and maintain appropriate policies, procedures, controls, systems and processes to support the company s growth and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Direct day-to-day activities related to accounting, finance, management reporting and admin including treasury, billing, collections, A/P, payroll, etc.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures and controls
• Migrate from Quickbooks and legacy purchasing system to NetSuite integrated accounting/ERP/inventory management
• Maintain the GL and chart of accounts
• Maintain the books and records on all revenue, COGS, operating expense, asset, liability and equity transactions
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and supporting schedules, accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and write-ups for internal and external reporting
• Prepare and track rolling short term cash flow, annual budget, and longer term forecasts
• Track and manage weekly/monthly KPIs/business metrics
• Participate in management staff meetings and planning sessions
• Manage annual insurance renewal process and related compliance
• Review, approve, and track customer and vendor agreements - including key terms/dates
• Initiate process improvements to support growth and improve operating performance

Qualifications:

• BA/BS Degree in Accounting or related major; CPA preferred
• Proven track record with 6-10 years of accounting/financial management experience and a strong understanding of cost accounting
• Prior experience with NetSuite and system/data migration/integration
• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred, but not required:

• Hands-on/start-up/technology business experience
