KPS is located just 5 minutes walking distance from Kennedy Subway station.
Applicants must have some knowledge of music pedagogy; curricular approaches to teaching music and a strong desire to help music students of varying ages and ability levels succeed as student musicians.
Music Instructor Responsibilities:
-Provide comprehensive music instruction to students of various ages
-Be on time to scheduled lessons, be helpful, be patient and friendly
-Be enthusiastic, prompt, pro-active and communicate with school Directors as required
Teaching Requirements:
-Have a B.A. or B.M. in music or to be close to its completion.
-Have the ability to teach beginner through advanced-level students
-Have at least two years of music teaching experience
-Possess excellent communication skills
