UX Designer with Salesforce/Salesforce Experience Designer

Position: UX Designer with Salesforce/Salesforce Experience Designer Location: Charlotte NC- Initial remote but require onsite when client requests Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Responsibilities: The Senior Salesforce Experience Designer is a talented practitioner responsible for the design and delivery of exceptional interaction and visual designs for our customers utilizing a user-centered design methodology. This individual has a strong foundation of Salesforce understanding and experience in Salesforce Lightning Design system. The Senior Salesforce Experience Designer works closely with digital experience design team members, product owners, strategists, and stakeholders to understand business goals and translate those goals into designs (custom or native) that enhance the overall end-user experience. The SDSED works in a multidisciplinary environment, and in a collaborative fashion, on experience design activities throughout the software development lifecycle, often with numerous design initiatives occurring concurrently. This individual contributes to the design of interactive user interfaces across Salesforce and other commercial products as needed. Simplifies and unifies complex information into intuitive interactions, flows, charts, graphs, and other forms of visual representation for Salesforce utilizing the Lightning Design System Experienced in customer-centered design, generating workflows & user journeys, and creating wireframes and high-fidelity designs Has extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform and expert level understanding of the Salesforce Lightning design system Expert level experience designing Salesforce Lightning interfaces Works directly with developers to turn wireframes and other visualizations into production ready prototypes based on Lightning components and patterns, and if needed, our design system language Performs reviews of developed pages to ensure adherence to standards Facilitates feedback reviews of prototypes to validate design concepts with end users May run workshops and design studios with stakeholders and customers Qualifications: Bachelor of Fine Arts degree or similar required Salesforce UXD Certification preferred Skilled practitioner with expertise in the design, production and presentation of Salesforce user interface designs that support the needs of the customer Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Proven ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts to audiences that are not skilled in a UX discipline Demonstrated experience with user-centered design patterns and methodologies, including but not limited to Salesforce domain Extensive knowledge with Agile software methodologies. Formal training in one or more recognized Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, kanban, etc or toolsets (JIRA, Rally, etc Comfort with ambiguity, complexity, and passion for challenges Detail-oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team Working knowledge of design tools such as Axure, A e CS or similar Portfolio to show examples of Salesforce design work and other UX design work using Axure RP Ability to travel occasionally for workshops and meetings The ideal candidate would also have: Experience in Insurance, FinTech or Financial Services, as a User Experience Designer, leading large, enterprise-wide work efforts across a multi-disciplinary team Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
