What does KLAR do?

Klar is a Mexican fintech startup whose mission is to democratize and revolutionize the way in which financial services have been delivered so far in Mexico, especially since half of the population doesn t have a bank account. We have had more than 1 million users since 2021!

We are changing this scenario by offering a tech product that allows users to manage their money through a mobile and web application. Users can withdraw or deposit money from any cash machine, they can also use the card in stores and even do online payments. We don t have any branches, everything is done and managed through the app.

Our product roadmap includes offering loans and credit for a larger group of clients based on our very sophisticated credit modeling.

Life at Klar

We have a very international team with more than 30 nationalities working from Mexico City, Berlin, and remotely. Our founder Stefan Moller is also half German and Mexican, which allowed Klar to think globally since its inception.

This position is to be performed in our Mexico office, while we support flexible working arrangements (home office, periodic remote work) we value a strong team culture with the possibility to meet up for in person meetings and informal social gatherings.

Your daily adventures will be

We're currently looking for a FP&A Analyst__ that will help with planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis activities to support the company's major business decisions and overall financial status.

As the FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for:

You will work closely with almost every department across the company. You ll be supporting the needs of Klar's finance department or any user who needs to make a decision based on business financial data.

Your daily adventures will be: (to be completed by HM)

• Provide business leaders with fast and accurate financial analysis and advice.
• Forecast the impact of potential decisions on cash flow and results
• Assess and monitor the overall financial health of the business and investments
• Help build and maintain detailed financial models and projections
• Create agile and integrated financial plans for multiple scenarios
• Collaborate with departments to prepare and consolidate budgets
• Align corporate strategy with execution and track performance
• Identify and assess new revenue opportunities and risk
• Operational monthly tracking of performance and financial indicators

What you bring to the table

• Bachelor s degree in Finance
• 2-3 years of job experience in financial planning, investment banking and/or private equity is a plus
• Advanced Excel
• Understand key drivers of financial statements
• Understanding of COGS and their main drivers
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven collaboration/teamwork experience
• Ability to work and think independently with limited direction and oversight
• Actively participate in the improvement of processes and deliverables
• English fluency required
