Job Description
TPF Recruitment are recruiting for an Accountancy Practice Tax Manager on behalf of our highly reputable and growing client based in Brighton. Our client is one of the most respected firms of chartered accountants in Sussex; they boast a fantastic reputation and have an exciting client base made up of clients within the entertainment sector. These include actors and artists, sports professional, bloggers, vloggers and you-tubers to name a few. You will have exposure to some very interesting work, servicing this prestigious client base.
You will be responsible for:
- Advising and implementing corporate reconstructions for fast growing businesses
- Advising owner-managed businesses regarding remuneration planning, succession planning
- Advising on investor reliefs such as EIS/SEIS
- Providing international tax planning advice for international mobile individuals dual resident corporations
- Advising on tax aspects of exciting research & development projects
- Providing high net worth individuals with IHT planning and CGT mitigation advice
- Communicating with and supporting clients
- Training and reviewing work of junior members of staff
- Providing support to Directors and Partners within the tax team
- Any other support or activities as required by the tax team
Requirements
- Ideally CTA and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified
- Previous mixed or private client tax experience gained in a practice environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Efficient and organised approach to work
- Good IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Has a friendly, positive can-do attitude
- Likes to work as part of a team
- Manages own workload and is proactive if help or support is needed
- Able to juggle a number of jobs whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines are met
Benefits
45,000 - 55,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable. A highly competitive benefits package is also on offer.
