We are a VC-funded startup based in Bangalore with the audacious goal of building the future of the Infosec Compliance business. Scrut is backed by Lightspeed Ventures and Endiya Partners, along with prominent angels from the global SaaS community.
Scrut Automation is a one-stop shop for infosec compliance. It supports IT/ITES/SaaS companies in automating their information security compliance tasks
and reduces manual work in maintaining compliance by ~70%. Founded by IIT/ISB/McKinsey alumni, the founding team has over 15 years of combined Infosec experience.
The Scrut platform provides the fastest solution for achieving and maintaining compliance across global standards, including but not limited to SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or CCPA, through its 'single window' operations. Scrut acts like an organisation s virtual CISO, so they can focus on their business and leave compliance to Scrut.

We are looking for a competent Account Executive to nd business opportunities and manage customer relationships. You'll be directly responsible for preserving and expanding our customer base. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sales. We expect you to be a reliable professional, able to balance customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Your overarching goal is to identify opportunities with prospects and new clients and build them into long-term pro table relationships.
Our Account Executive is a dynamic and entrepreneurial role that will see you leading new business development in the APAC region. The role will be accountable for developing & executing our global business development strategy across the APAC region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and entrepreneurial individual who is passionate about international education and is con dent in growing a new sales function region to help us achieve our long-term growth strategy.

Evaluate sales opportunities and business case presentations for new and existing clients in APAC. Expand market penetration and grow the pro ts.
Build, develop and manage your sales pipeline
Tier your accounts and prospect into them alongside your BDR, via tailored and relevant outreach campaigns (social, email and cold calling)
Travel to customer locations and marketing events as needed
Put Product / technical knowledge to commercial use and prepares estimates and tenders by sales and pricing policy.
Drive high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout all areas of the business.
Prepare sales proposals, RFPs, and agreements to ensure timely sales closures.
Demonstrate high account management standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsible for working closely with product and sales teams to develop all collateral such as sales decks, one-pagers, technical documents, etc.
Represent the company across industry events and conferences.
1-3 years of experience in the SAAS Domain is a must.
Customer-oriented, extraordinary communication skills, high curiosity and an eagerness to learn are must-have traits.
Domain knowledge in the eld of SaaS, CSM, CRM or ISMS is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized, and hands-on.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Self-driven, comfortable with a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous environment.
4-year university degree required (Bachelor)
