Contract Manager - Rail

We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as a Contract Manager to join our Arb Rail & Infrastructure division, situated in the Southern Region.

You will contribute to the performance and growth of the division and ensure that we exceed our client s expectations on safety, quality and operational delivery.

The Contract Manager will predominantly be involved in arb & de-veg projects, but the work scope may potentially also include fencing and minor civils work.

Duties will include:

• Managing multiple Site Supervisors and sites to exceed client and internal KPIs
• Assist with the planning, safety, and quality of the works carried out
• Survey sites to evaluate work required and ensuring adequate resourcing to deliver

Who are we looking for?

This is a great opportunity for a change. You could be working as a manager on the rail side and looking for a change into de-veg work or you could be a strong Arb Manager looking for a move into rail. The candidate will ideally have had some, but not necessarily all, of the following;

• Relevant managerial and operational experience or equivalent relevant practical experience.
• Previous experience in the rail industry
• Experienced in effectively leading teams
• Effective influencing and negotiating skills.
• Knowledge and strong commercial acumen of tendering
