Web-Frontend Internship

Ciconia was founded in 2017 out of the University of Mannheim to digitize regional food retailers and marketplace operators and enable them to do home deliveries with our own software product. Since then, we have continued to develop and now offer our expertise as a software developer and operator to other companies. Many German companies, such as BMW, are now among our customers.

Tasks

• You work agilely and independently in self-organizing developer teams
• Development in various projects based on JavaScript and React
• You ensure code quality with measures such as code reviews or UI tests
• Designing modern interfaces with a good user experience
• Learning and using new technologies

Requirements

• Completed studies in an IT-related field or comparable training
• Practical experience in programming with JavaScript/TypeScript, as well as HTML and CSS
• First contact with React, Angular or Vue would be an advantage
• Basic knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, REST or Websockets
• Clean code principles and high-quality requirements are part of your job description
• Very good English and good German skills
