Senior Product Designer (m/f/d)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer (m/f/d) to join our solutions-driven team in the heart of Berlin. The position is a global role in our Design Team. You will be responsible for:

• Representing design as a users advocate in one of our cross-functional teams in close collaboration with the Product Manager and Engineering Manager
• Taking the initiative in identifying problems and opportunities to improve the user experience within our web and mobile app
• Owning the end-to-end user journey and all aspects of design execution from discovery and ideation, to prototyping, testing, and final production
• Conducting user tests with the help of our researchers in diverse global markets to gain direct user feedback
• Effectively communicating with engineers in order to assure high quality implementation
• Helping to further develop the overarching look and feel of our product

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in User Experience Design, preferably in a technology company and/or in the healthcare industry, and is a creative thinker who thrives on owning the process from start to finish. Additionally, the candidate will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a UX & UI Designer, with deep expertise in UX and strong skills in UI
• A deep understanding of the end-to-end product design process including how to develop and use IA, journey mapping, prototyping, user stories, user research, wire-framing, and visual design.
• Profound experience in conducting and facilitating discovery and ideation workshops
• The ability to solve ambiguous and complex problems with simple, elegant, user-focused solutions
• Expertise in design tools, i.e., Figma, Sketch, FigJams, Miro, Adobe CS
• Fluency in English
• Valid working visa/permit for Germany
• Ideally, you have experience in working on a web-based portal and within a B2B2C context
