Job Description:
Presales solutions consultant position is a senior role responsible for enabling and execution of sales and business development strategies. This role will be part of the account presales team responsible for a leading Hi-Tech customer in North America. The candidate would be primarily responsible for building pipeline for new business development, build differentiating solutions, Design and Deliver compelling presentations. Create collateral that will help in selling company's entire portfolio of IT Outsourcing services, Consulting, Products, BPO and Platform Services in customer organization.
Responsibilities:
- Personally, develop strong, long-term relationships with the sales team.
- Forecast and conduct business planning through client research and networking
- Build pipeline of opportunities and research buyers that sales teams can use to make new connects
- Enable business development, offering positioning and sales strategies as a member of the account presales team.
- Achieve lead generation, prospecting and other sales management goals designed to build an optimal sales pipeline.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual win targets
- Manage the end-to-end presales process for all opportunities including project management, proposal development, content packaging, on-site presentations, RFI response, client workshops, RFP submission. The candidate is the focal point for all communication and presales activities with sales teams.
- Work in close collaboration with sales team & delivery teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services fully meet customers' business and technology needs.
- Demonstrate strong personal communication and presentation skills to establish interest, credibility and trust.
Qualifications:
- Strong profile with a proven track record of success in selling professional services to Hi-tech (Software Segment) companies. Track record can also include technology services and/or products, including consistent over-achievement of win ratios and revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of digital technologies (such as Cloud, AI, Analytics, Automation)
- At least 4 years of experience in presales organization selling into IT services, consulting and BPO services. Will also consider candidates who have at least 8 years overall experience as a services and/or technology presale preferably working in a leading IT services & products firm with prior experience of selling high end services to Hi-Tech product companies or other companies.
- Verifiable track record creating IT Services / solutions. Should either have worked in IT services organizations or have worked in Hi-Tech organizations in some capacity.
- Experience with vendor selection processes including RFI and RFP issuance and response management;
- Understanding of customer decision making criteria as it pertains to offshore services, consulting, enterprise solutions, BPO services, etc.
- Ability to maintain strong presales management focus during deal cycles.
- Strong analytical and negotiations skills.
- To succeed in this position, you must be self-motivated, ambitious, focused, detail-oriented, organized, capable of managing complex situations, and command the ability to work with sales, offshore pre-sales and solution development counterparts to develop opportunities.
